Shih-yu Lin (Sofia) is a tax partner with Chen & Fan Accountancy Corporation. She has more than 20 years of experience serving clients in both domestic and international income tax planning, consulting, and compliance for corporation, individual, and flow-through entity taxation and related IRS and State tax audits. Prior to joining the firm, Sofia was a tax manager with Deloitte, where she accumulated extensive tax, audit, consulting, and other related experiences of serving multinational clients.
Sofia is a certified public accountant in the States of California and Illinois. She received her MBT (Master of Business Taxation) degree from the Marshall School of Business at University of Southern California and MSA (Master of Science in Accountancy) degree from University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign. Sofia is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She is also a Board member and Secretary of Asian Pacific CPA Association.
