BIO
Melanie Pong grew up in the Bay Area. She had her elementary education in the city of Oakland and relocated to the city of San Francisco in her adolescent years. She then made her move to Southern California and attended the University of California, Los Angeles for her collegiate education. She graduated her class at the top level with two bachelor degrees: One in Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics and the other in Economics.
As a junior in College, Melanie started her career in the Mortgage Industry. She began by working for a real estate firm as the brokerage manager in the mortgage processing division. She was then heavily recruited by various Mortgage Banks and Brokers and soon became a prestigious and top notch mortgage loan officer for the past 8 years.
Melanie has a great enthusiasm for accounting; especially in the areas of taxation, finance, and lending and also holds her CRTP. She once worked for a Franchise Tax firm and scored highest in her entrance exam. Furthermore, she is on the Executive Board for the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) IE Chapter. Melanie is passionate about APCPAA’s mission to build lifetime friendships and help each other grow professionally across all Asian Communities.
She recently commenced her career at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to their mortgage platform. Some of her top sales qualities are that she is trustworthy, efficient, detail oriented, and always goes above and beyond for her clients and business partners.
Besides her career, Melanie also enjoys rooting for the New England Patriots, binge watching her favorite TV dramas, and visiting McDonalds for an ice cold Diet coke or two!
